As organizations & individuals continue navigating increasing workplace demands, change fatigue, burnout, and mental health challenges, supporting  well-being can no longer be limited to awareness. May reminds us of the importance of Mental Health Awareness Month, and September brings national focus to Suicide Prevention Month. Yet mental wellness cannot live in a single month on the calendar.

Mental health requires ongoing action.

JOY Just Own Yours® proposes a comprehensive mental health & well-being program designed to equip individuald with practical tools, resources, education, and support that promote resilience, psychological safety, connection, and early intervention.

Program Components

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)

Mental Health First Aid equips participants discover:

  • Common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges

  • Common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges.

  • How to interact with a person in crisis.

  • How to connect a person with help.

  • Expanded content on trauma, substance use and self-care.

  • Reduced stigma and increase confidence in helping others

  • How to respond with the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan 

QPR Suicide Prevention Training

QPR is an evidence-informed suicide prevention program that teaches employees to:

  • Recognize the warning signs of suicide

  • Initiate supportive conversations

  • Refer individuals to appropriate resources

This training provides year-round value and aligns particularly well with National Suicide Prevention Month initiatives.

Group Coaching Programs Series

Facilitated coaching experiences designed to support:

  • Stress management

  • Burnout prevention

  • Resilience building

  • Work-life integration

  • Leadership well-being

  • Emotional intelligence

  • Psychological safety

Resource Support

Participants receive access to curated resources including:

  • Mental health resource guides

  • Crisis and support hotlines

Individual Coaching Offerings Available to Participants 

Confidential 1:1 coaching designed to help employees:

  • Navigate transitions

  • Strengthen leadership skills

  • Clarify goals and priorities

Coaching vs Therapy

JOY Just Own Yours® does not provide therapy services within workplace coaching engagements.

Should coaching reveal needs more appropriately addressed through therapy, employees will be encouraged and referred to:

  • Internal Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Community mental health providers

  • Licensed therapists and clinicians

Coaching:

  • Future-focused

  • Goal-oriented

  • Supports growth, performance, and development

  • Helps individuals move from where they are to where they want to be

 

Therapy:

  • Clinical treatment provided by licensed mental health professionals

  • Diagnoses and treats mental health conditions

  • Addresses trauma, mental illness, and psychological disorders
